Survival (Skill) is a skill in SCUM.

Enables a Compass in Focus mode. The higher your skill, the more directions are displayed. See Navigation for more details. Real compass adds up to your displayed compass skill

Affect your basic crafting speed
Leveling[ | ]
Crafting basic materials. Crafting arrows and bolts
Chopping Puppets[ | ]
- Kill a Puppet
- Chop off arms, legs, and head
- Pull teeth and ears out of head
Lumberjack Method[ | ]
- Craft stone axes
- Alternatively you can use a better axe or Chainsaw, but this can be wasteful on long grind sessions
- Cut down trees
- Turn logs into planks
- Bundle planks
- Turn branches into sticks
- Turn long sticks into short sticks
- Turn short sticks into rope
- Arrows are a good alternative to this step that have more use in-game
- In either case this step can be skipped for the fastest EXP rates, as long as you are ok with wasting the resources
- Repeat

- Points increasing 0 - 10.000
- Chopping a zombie body +25
- Chopping zombie leg/arm/body +25
- Cutting clothes into rags +50
- Cutting a tree +100
- Cutting Wood Log into Planks +75
- Filling a Water Bottle with new water (5 charges) +10
- Points increasing 10.000 - 100.000
- Cutting clothes into rags +150
- Cutting a tree +200
- Cutting Wood log into planks +180
- Craft bundle of wooden planks +120
- Craft bundle of wooden small sticks +120
- Craft bundle of wooden small sticks +130
- Cutting large sticks into small sticks +150
- Craft Wooden Arrow +210
Every survival type action increases the points of the skill.

The Survival skill determines what items you can craft upon entering the game world. It also affects the speed you can craft items.
Leveling the Survival skill is done by crafting items. New recipes are unlocked by reaching a higher skill level.
