Short pants, designed mostly for sports activities.
Despite what it might look like, the item occupies the underwear slot, and not the pants slot. Meaning it can be worn together with normal pants, and essentially provide and additional 2x4 inventory grid where there usually wouldn't be one.
They appear in ten different colour schemes, most being vibrant, bright pastels.
Stats[]
Neither durability, inventory space, nor weight capcity is nothing exceptional. Being simple civilian clothing, they tend to quickly wear out after more intensive use. They also don't provide much thermal insulation, which can be useful in the warmer parts of the map to get a bit of extra inventory space.
However, in context, none of that really matters given the lack of competition - the only other item that can occupy the same slot is regular underwear, which provides no inventory space whatsoever. In other words, short pants might not have the best statistics, but there's no downside, and it's still the best one can get for that gear slot.
Procurement[]
Usually can be found in most civilian areas. Look specifically in schools, wardrobes, and even occasionally in workshops. Not a rarity by any means, it should be quite easy to get your hands on some.
Puppets have a chance to drop them in very bad condition.
