Current gameplay bugs[ | ]
Boxes disappear[ | ]
Storage boxes and varies other base items disappear after the initial 14 days whether maintained or not.
Workaround: build new boxes before the 14 days are up. (Not Ideal)
Chests built on top of foundations/floors will be bound to the element, and once that element is destroyed, so too will the chest, even if it has since been moved.
Workaround: don't build chests on foundations/floors, build them on terrain and then move them where you desire.
Car flight[ | ]
Cars are randomly flying away/exploding themselves. after playing in event, entering a car will throw it into space and explode.
I can Validate it is not "Event" related, we've had this happen outside of doing events.
Workaround: After event we have to re-log into server to prevent it from happening. This MIGHT work, it is not 100% effective
Reloading gun makes magazine disappear[ | ]
when a user uses "r" to reload the weapon when the current magazine is only half empty the magazine disappears
Carbon Hunter (had 2 rounds left in magazine), reloaded to put additional magazine into rifle - original magazine disappears.
if I press R to reload the weapon and I have one magazine in the weapon and one in my gear and I don't have any other free spaces, it replaces your magazine with the one on me but the one you had in the weapon disappears.
Wall crafting breaks when longer than 10 meters[ | ]
When building a wall longer than 10 meters, you will be unable to complete the build once filling up the blueprint
Workaround: Build walls shorter than 10 meters
Non repairable base elements[ | ]
Description: Some base building elements, such as the wall mounted weapon display, are unable to be repaired in any way. They will degrade for two weeks no matter what you do and then disappear with all weapons contained on them.
Trader config pricing bugged[ | ]
Some sellable items (such as coal) are not behaving as expected when adjusting their config values. Setting the price to 5000 makes them cost 75, setting it to 10 makes it cost 15, and setting it to 500 makes it cost 750. There is no easy formula that lines up with these values
Crafting requirements bug[ | ]
If you have a crafting ingredient in your inventory with less than the required amount of charges, and a second version with enough charges, the crafting will fail to activate
- required to reproduce:
- low charge toolbox
- full charge improvised toolbox
- 5 padlocks (more for better quality locks)
- issue:
- try to craft a lock this fails cause the game only looks at the low charge toolbox
- workaround:
- remove low charge improvised toolbox from inventory
This bug also appears when trying to make ammo. If you have multiple lead plates in your inventory and one of them is below the amount required it does nothing
Bomb defusal mini-game is bugged[ | ]
its either black and the wires aren't shown, or its invisible, or the game won't even initiate.
Unable to disarm explosive puppet[ | ]
Description: if I headshot an explosive puppet while it's running to me it's unable to disarm it and the explosion is few meters from the body
actually the puppet become 2 parts, 1st the body(unable to disarm) 2nd another invisible body after few meters(where explosion happen)it shows disarm also but cannot
Loading Magazines[ | ]
At certain times when loading a magazine with ammo, the ammo stack does not disappear after hitting 0. The player can then continue to load magazines with "magical ammunition"
Description: I was loading an empty Ak-47 magazine on a 28 pop server and when I got done loading the magazine. The ammo stack hit 0 and I dropped it, picked it up and it gave me more ammo. So, I loaded the spare ammo into another magazine that somehow magically became of itself from a bug. It did the exact same thing, the ammo stack became 0. So I dropped it again and it gave me 1 more bullet.. How to do: Load ammo into magazines constantly and soon or later you will get the same issue. Ruins the game, cause it magically creates spare ammo.
Additional info: works with all calibers
Possible issue with vehicle spawns[ | ]
I think there is an issue with vehicles not spawning correctly. Asked around and low population servers are not finding vehicles much...well not like pre booty patch. When someone gets a chance to get around to this
Melee weapon hit boxes[ | ]
When very close to puppet (walking toward), I swing but no hit Not sure if its related to human/puppet models or the scout hitbox
This is happening with all melee I think. Hit boxes seem off on all knives I was missing heaps of hits with foooster machete. It just goes straight through them.
Water into wine[ | ]
Filling alcohol bottle with water allows you to disinfect rags again
absinth bottles filled with water can be used to disinfect rags and treat wounds
Z3 and C2 traders sharing settings[ | ]
In EconomyOverride, the Z3 trader settings share the same settings as the C2 trader settings. Whatever you change for C2 trader also effects your prices/availability at the Z3 trader.
Deathmatch door bug[ | ]
Description: On our server we were playing various rounds of team deathmatch/deathmatch and we noticed something.... Sometimes doors would be open for some players but closed for others, and you cannot open the doors. So, some cases people can get access to areas/rooms that others cannot
(example was police st roof, for me it was a closed locked door, for my enemy on the roof, the door was open and he could just shoot me)
Silent zombies[ | ]
Description: many zombies don't have footstep or vocal audio
Cargo drop lockers glitched out[ | ]
Description: I picked all the cargo drop lockers before 30 seconds and they remained locked and asked me to pick them again, i heard this is a known bug.
Once the 30 second mark was reached all lockers still remained locked
Workaround: log out after picking them and log back in. They will be unlocked
Unreachable Airdrop[ | ]
The airdrop that drops at {X=-791355.750 Y=-21933.520 Z=36520.258|P=342.969452 Y=336.666321 R=0.000000} in B0 Sector lands in the middle of the trees and inaccessible.. If you manage to glitch in or get in the locked doors are just constantly pickable and never actually unlock..
Skill Cap drops Skill Level[ | ]
Description: When capping out in Motorcycle skill, you are forced back down to the skill level of 0% for that skill. For example, if you complete Basic skill up to 100% but cannot trip over to Medium because of your Dex, the skill actually puts you back to 0%. Your top speed shifts back down from the 90s to 77kmh, and you start having problems starting the motorcycle which you stop doing around the 80% mark of Basic.
This is an old bug, and I consider it a bug because it doesn't make sense to push you back down to the skill level of 0% when you've maxed that skill. The answer isn't, "well roll higher dex" or "upgrade your dex". The point is the skill capability shouldn't put you at the bottom of the skill again, that you already worked through.
Puppets can walk through walls[ | ]

Dirt Bikes: These are wildly buggy. Myself and others on US EAST #3 have had issues with them staying in a constant state of bouncing motion, have taken damage just from trying to pick them up, and been killed by trying to interact with them.

Barbed wire nails[ | ]
If you craft barbed wire it will use a full stack of nails in your inventory. If you take all nails out f your inventory and only keep one on you it will still craft the barbed wire, so it's ether using too many nails or too few idk
Zombies are immune to thrown weapons[ | ]
When throwing weapons at puppets - tested with the Bushman/Kunai - they have a tendency to stop momentarily from the knockback before teleporting right on top of you and getting a free hit or two. Has this bug been mentioned before?
I've tested this pretty thoroughly on my server and it's a consistent problem
Seems the direct trigger for the event is when a thrown weapon doesn't get a true hit - I.E. the knife or whatever thrown weapon bounces off. They stagger visually but the game treats them as if their still running. This causes them to stagger back then teleport forward and nearly instantly hit you.
Following up on what I was saying before about thrown weapons bouncing off puppets causing them to teleport, after more extensive testing it would seem that army zombies are simply immune to knives and the like when thrown. It doesn't matter whether or not they have armor, anything with military clothing bounces thrown knives off of them thus causing the lag teleport. Could anybody else confirm thrown weapons not working on Military zombies?
Throwing grenades and flares do not work[ | ]
Grenades and flares seem to be bugged. Cant be thrown if taken in hand from inventory. must be dropped on the ground first and taken directly to your hand to b thrown. This happened to multiple people multiple times with flares and fragmentation grenades..
Raincoats do not work as ingredients[ | ]
The game does not recognize the raincoat when attempting to craft an improvised raincoat rain collector. I tried a few. Each at 100%
Moving item to holster makes it despawn if it cant be held in holster[ | ]
Description: Moving items to holster slots 1 and 2 will make the item you move despawn, if it is something you cant hold in holsters. Happened to me at least twice, despawned pistol and knife

Server crash after Mech vs Vehicle[ | ]
Don't know if this has been caught before, but on our low pop G-Portal server, mech damage was set to -98. When the mechs detect a vehicle (I guess that has been driven etc) they will try to destroy it. Anytime they were shooting for a while and we try to get into a vehicle it crashes our server. Good thinking on part of one of our players that we were able to figure this out. I had no clue!
