The compound bow currently stands as the premier choice within the game, surpassing even the Recurve Bow. Its superiority lies in enhanced durability, versatile attachment options, and the capacity to finely adjust the draw weight—a feature intricately tied to the Archery skill.

Distinguishing itself from other bows, the compound bow boasts the Compound Bow Sight and the Bow Stabilizer attachments. The Compound Bow Sight functions akin to a Red Dot Sight tailored for bows, while the Bow Stabilizer significantly contributes to ranged accuracy.
Adjusting Draw Weight[]
A unique feature of the compound bow is its adaptability in draw weight. Utilizing a toolbox, players can effortlessly modify the draw weight, determining the force required to pull the arrow into the firing position. This process involves selecting an Improvised Toolbox, Small Toolbox, or Toolbox from the vicinity or inventory, right-clicking to take it in hand, and subsequently adjusting the draw weight by right-clicking the compound bow.

Securing a compound bow proves to be a rare feat, requiring exploration of numerous locations, boxes, or searchable objects. The following items are most likely to yield compound bows:
