Weapons are a major tool for survival. They can be used to defend against threats such as Puppets, Mechanoids, or other players. In addition, they can be used to hunt animals such as Deer for food. Different weapons can be crafted or found in the world.

Melee[ | ]
Melee weapons deal damage through physical contact with the target, e.g. being swung or stabbed at the target. Attack speed, damage, and stamina drain by melee weapons are partially governed by the player's Melee skill. Bladed weapons generally deal more damage than blunt weapons, but are less effective against armor. In contrast, blunt weapons are generally more effective against armor, and also have a higher chance to knock out players.[1]
