The 5.56×45mm cartridge family was derived from, but is not identical to, the .223 Remington cartridge designed by Remington Arms in the early 1960s.

Usage
The 5.56x45mm Bullet can only be used with the M16A4.
The rounds can be chambered individually, or used with the M16 Magazine

Boxes of 5.56x45mm ammunition can be found in crates and pallets in military areas as well as some civilian residences.
Usage
A box of ammunition can be opened by right-clicking the box and choosing "Unpack".
- Unpacking a box of ammunition will produce a single piece of paper, one 20 round stack and one 10 round stack of ammunition.
