The 5.45×39mm is an example of an international tendency towards relatively small-sized, lightweight, high-velocity military service cartridges. Cartridges like the 5.45×39mm allow a soldier to carry more ammunition for the same weight compared to their larger and heavier predecessor cartridges, have favorable maximum point-blank range or "battle zero" characteristics and produce relatively low bolt thrust and free recoil impulse, favoring lightweight arms design and automatic fire accuracy.

The 5.45x39mm Bullet can only be used with the AKS-74U.
The rounds can be chambered individually, or used with the AKS-74U Magazine

Usage[]
A box of ammunition can be opened by right-clicking the box and choosing "Unpack".
- Unpacking a box of ammunition will produce a single piece of paper, one 20 round stack and one 10 round stack of ammunition.
